Londoner Allegra Hicks got her start designing home textiles in the early nineties and has since become a full luxury lifestyle brand. Everything from her home, beach, ready-to-wear, and accessories collections are reflective of her own bohemian luxe style. Hicks is known as the queen of caftans, her signature item that's prized by her jet-set friends for its versatility, thrown on poolside or layered for a city chic look.

The Designer
Italian-born Hicks studied art and design in Milan and Brussels, putting her eye for textiles to good use. Her townhouse-style flagship, designed in collaboration with her husband, acclaimed interior designer Ashley Hicks, is considered one of the most unique shops in London. Hicks recently brought her eclectic style Stateside, opening a Madison Avenue outpost in early 2007.
