Blondies does get packed on weekends, when collegiate alumni groups amass to watch their heroes do battle. But even then, the wait staff hustles food and drinks like true champs for a crowd of young professionals who haven't lost their taste for game-day thrills.

The kitchen closes about two hours before the bar during the week, and an about hour before the bar closes during the weekend.
