Profile

Is John Madden dreaming? These upper Manhattan jock hangouts will make you think so, with top-notch Buffalo wings and a host of ballpark favorites in a home-team atmosphere. If that's not enough for you, Blondies has more TVs than Circuit City, including several big screens. The bar echoes the myriad campus hotspots of College Town, USA: Looking out the windows, you half expect to glimpse bonfires, pom poms and painted faces. Monday nights are "all you can eat" wings, and a wide array of beers served in pitchers are available to quench your team's thirst. Blondies does get packed on weekends, when collegiate alumni groups amass to watch their heroes do battle. But even then, the wait staff hustles food and drinks like true champs for a crowd of young professionals who haven't lost their taste for game-day thrills.

Extra

The kitchen closes about two hours before the bar during the week, and an about hour before the bar closes during the weekend.
