Profile
Unless you're literally blind drunk when you walk in, you'll immediately discern the source of this bar's nickname: the owner's formidable collection of china bowls and cups inscribed "Tom & Jerry," displayed on wooden shelves behind the long mahogany bar. The cat-and-mouse team makes a fitting namesake for this quirky yet homey bar. Despite headroom as huge and drafty as an aircraft hangar, the space feels as welcoming as any neighborhood tavern, with a cast of characters that includes Nolita Lolitas toting shopping bags, clean-cut college Joes, and slightly grizzled older men.
