Escape from the city's tobacco-free zones and puff unrepentantly on one of the hundred-plus types of cigarettes offered here, from German Shepheard's Hotel to British Dunhills. In your other hand, clutch a highball the size of a refillable soft drink. As the place fills up (with both smoke and bodies), jazz and hip-hop drown out the air purifiers, and the faint whiff of some wackier tobacky might filter through the room. Do not take non-smoker friends. Just listen to the background white smoky noise during tasting some single malt Scotch then you find you have succeeded to escape from boring day issues.
