Over the course of two decades, Rori Pierpont has expanded a small flower shop into its current incarnation: a florist-cum-event-design company catering to clients like Sotheby’s and the Metropolitan Opera. The company can transform an entire space, with flowers, wallpapers, and fabrics tailored to the couple’s vision (prices start at $10,000). Bouquets start at $250.

Named after a landscaped street in France where owner Emily Weaver studied floral design, this seven-year-old business has been built mainly by word of mouth. Weaver’s style is modern European chic, with soft textures arranged in tight groupings and stems gathered together in stiff bunches. Prices from $200.

The Daily Blossom

The daughter of a Virginia landscape architect, Saundra Parks got her start peddling poinsettias in Harlem and on the Upper West Side. These days, clients come to her for dynamic arrangements that play with a multitude of textures and arresting colors (green orchids are a favorite). Centerpieces from $175; bouquets from $200.

Dana Worlock Design

Worlock’s fresh, sophisticated designs contain her signature mix of unusual combinations of flora. Her lush, monochromatic style has a modern touch; bouquets feature sculpted cherry blossoms or an abundance of succulents. She typically charges $5,000 to $25,000 for an entire wedding.

A veteran floral designer for Elizabeth Arden and Le Cirque, Koch considers the couple’s personalities before taking them to the flower market to hand-pick their favorite buds. He’s transformed one room into a Bollywood scene and another into a Romanesque hall for the nuptials. And after the event, his staff will donate the arrangements to the needy. Prices start at $125.
